December - '03 - songs

finished off recording all our songs that we have done so far, six in total. they all have been converted to mp3 on the lyric page for your listening pleasure.

October - November '03- lyric

we have been busy recording a few songs on the 4-track to accompany the new lyric page. you will find 'the guilty innocent', 'to the left of tuesday, '3 mins' and 'suicidal joy' there.

the next mission is to find a drummer. we starting to put a few ads around the colleges in dublin. the last time out we found a drummer through the musicmaker site, so hopefully lucky again! wish us luck!!

September '03 - business

ok, this month we have been practicing and recording a few songs on the 4-track. should have a few sound clips on the site next month, watch out!

no new songs started, but there are a few in the pipeline. next month we will be looking out for a new drummer, more great fun again!

July - August '03 - regroup

June - '03 - some work done

we got to work on two new songs this month, '3 minutes' and 'an easy way to believe'. '3 minutes' is an older song and is almost complete, needs more practice! we got stuck into 'an easy way to believe' in the middle of june, so should have it finished in july.

we have another new song started for july called 'suicidal joy'.

the website should have a new lyric section page up during july, you will get to read our lyrics. then the plan is to record these song for your enjoyment, so until then....

May - '03 - bass player

anne margaret has taken up the bass for the cause. so we are a complete unit now.

we have being doing a few covers, U2 songs, 'staring at the sun' and 'one', to get used to the drums. dave has finished the drums for 'to the left of tuesday' and 'the guilty innocent'. we will hope to have all the songs we have written, finished by june, including drums and basslines. we plan to do a few more covers too. so all very busy!

Apr - '03 - new drummer

four floors introduce dave brazil on drums. the first couple of jams went extremely well and we are all happy. developments, ie new songs, should be moving along nicely now and we will be gigging soon.

looks like anne margaret is going to take up the bass guitar.

Mar - '03 - drummers

four floors have been jamming with a few drummers, should be naming the new four floors drummer in april!!!

Feb - '03 - songs

four floors have completed four songs - 'to the left of tuesday', three minutes', 'the guilty innocent' and 'war games'. no plans to record these yet, so you just have to wait!!

Jan - '03 - intro

the name 'four floors' has stuck with us since about the summer of '02, after the world cup. there is a story about the name which will be told some other time.

four floors are anne maragret, martin and rob. martin and rob have been jammin' since the start of summer '02 and anne margaret joined late '02

this website will document the life of four floors, it maybe short, but hoping it will be an epic one.
